Monday August 1st - Friday August 5th, 2016
In this five-day camp nestled in the heart of nature at Stonehouse Farm, we build a close connection to the Earth's elements and each other while exploring ourselves in relation to the world around us.
Each day begins with morning yoga and mindfulness practice to encourage self-care and a positive body image. Activities include learning earth-based skills, arts and crafts, nature walks with identification of wild plants and flowers, foraging wild edibles, scavenger hunts, swimming, singing, drumming, dancing, bee keeping, and celebrating together in ritual. Together participants create a safe space for sharing the joy and challenging experiences of this budding time of life. We’ll move from the heart to cultivate authenticity, positive body image, self-expression, courage, and inner strength while nurturing the flower blooming from within.
